As your eyes gradually change, so can your vision and prescription needs. That’s why regular eye exams are so important. At your exam, Dr Smith will not only update or check for a glasses or contacts prescription, but also assess the health of your eyes. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms, so you might not know that a problem exists until it is found by your eye doctor. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems can be imperative in helping prevent future vision loss.
Pediatric exams
Dr. Smith sees kids of all ages. Your child will not only be evaluated for an eyeglasses prescription, but he/she will be checked for other eye conditions that can get in the way of learning and development.
COntact lens exams
After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. Smith will discuss all of the contact lens options that best fit your needs. We offer prescription contact lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and bifocal contact lenses for our presbyopic patients.
Diabetic exams
Every diabetic patient requires a comprehensive eye exam with dilation to evaluate if the disease is affecting your eyes. We will work with your primary care physician or endocrinologist to ensure your eyes remain healthy.
